Orange Indo-pacific glass beads were rather common during the first millennium. A color that has been considered special throughout ancient cultures, some orange beads are referred to as “mutisahla”, these are similar to the Palau (Micronesia) style, yet were excavated in Samar (Philippines) many years ago.
