Blue glass and faience beads were produced and traded throughout the ancient kingdoms during the last millenniums of the BCE’s right into the current Era. Places like Egypt, Iran, and Syria had learned early the technology involved in making such products and as that knowledge spread, so too did the variety and areas of bead production. These ancient blue beads were found along the old trade routes and speak to earlier times.
