These large, deep blue, faceted, drawn-glass, bi-cone beads were produced in S.E. Asia sometime during the late BCE’s into the first millennium CE. Similar to beads from Ban Chiang (Thailand), they were most likely produced by one of several sources in production (such as Vietnam or Indonesia) at that time. Circulated through the Indo-pacific trade routes, they have weathered many centuries and passed through many hands.
