Handmade wound glass beads
Manufactured as early as the mid 1600's and not after the late 1800"s
Beads measure approximately 8mm and are of a beautiful translucent red hue
The glass monopoly in China was broken after the collapse of the Tang Dynasty in 906 AD. After which the size and quantity of glass beads increased for both The Asian seafaring trade as well as for transport to the far-flung minority tribal people's near China.
